Although consumers monitors almost exclusively come in 16:9 or 16:10 aspect-ratios, business users often have different demands. A significant number of officers uses square monitors with a 4:3 or 5:4 ratio. For these users, Eizo has introduced the S2133, S1923 and S1903 monitors. The new additions, all part of the FlexScreen series, feature led-backlighting and have a special sensor to automatically adjust brightness based on ambient lighting.
The 21-inch S2133 has a 1600×1200 pixel resolution, an IPS-panel, maximum brightness of 420 cd/m² and a claimed gray-to-gray response time of 6 ms. It’s equipped with a USB-hub, DisplayPort, DVI-D and D-Sub connectivity.
The S1923 and S1903 are both 19-inch screens, with a resolution of 1280×1024 pixels, 250 cd/m² brightness and both DVI-D and D-Sub video inputs. The S1923 has a VA LCD-panel, while the S1903 features a TN-panel.
